Wellbeing - MultiLit

MULTILIT (Making Up Lost Time for Literacy) is a program providing skills for children to assist with their reading and spelling development. The program has been developed by Macquarie University and includes Word Attack Skills (phonics), Sight Words and Reinforced Reading. The School Learning Support Officer works through the program with individual students until they have mastered each level.

Research indicates that a student will make up to 15 months progress in word recognition in just 2 terms of instructions.

Hunters Hill has been running the program since 2012.
